Sydnee Emmerson

yes she is finally here. She made her arrival on July 10th at 11:44am weighting 6lbs 13oz, 19 in long. She came out calm and collect and with open arms from aaron and I. She is now a week and two days and is doing so great. Breastfeeding is going good and she is sleeping well. She looks a lot like aaron and has brought so much joy to aaron and I already. addi is doing great with her as well.

Mom comes on monday and staying til thursday which we are all very excited about.

We will be moving the first of september to a new apartment that is more affordable and also closer to aaron's family. The apartment is a lot smaller than what we have now but we will turn it into a home for us.

The weather has been very hot and humid here with little rain which is a little disappointing.

Got to go feed the baby!

A few more hours

My dr appointment is at 3:15 and we will see where we stand with baby. Last night I had quit a few painful contractions and at the same time addi's cold has settled into my head. I didn't sleep too much last night and I'm very cranky cause of the lack of rest. Hopefully not too much long. Baby is super dupper low and sitting on furniture is very uncomfortable so I spend a lot of time laying or sitting on my ball. Addi is now asleep on the couch which means she probably won't take a nap this afternoon :( I'm trying to not watch the clock but its kind of hard. I will post again today after my dr apointment. Aaron is working at both jobs today so I won't really see him til 9:30 or so tonight. Happy thoughts that Im dialeted more and baby will be earthside soon!!!

5 more days

Needless to say I am at the point where i feel frustrated, depressed, a burden among other things. Had to go to the hospital again Wednesday morning and have labor stopped since I am only 35 weeks. I was having regular contractions 3-4 minutes apart and was given another shot of terbutaline which had a harder effect on my physically this time. I have a dr appointment on tuesday afternoon and will be 36 weeks and given the go ahead if I do have labor. The next time I head to the hospital I wont leave without a baby in my arms. Ive been doing a lot of research on if baby is born at 36 weeks and everything looks promising including my dr saying she will be fine. So that is in 5 days. Im trying to stay positive and Aaron is being as supportive as he can. We want a healthy baby but we also want her her and my body is just done being pregnant with all my contractions, aches and pains. Enough of my rant. Besides that everything is well. The weather outside is hellish hot at 112 with no sign of rain :( If it was raining right now I would be standing outside letting it fall on me. Please send good uplifiting thoughts my way for I need them badly.

Soooo done!

I am 34 weeks and I am soo done being pregnant right now. I have my shower this saturday and also a diamondbacks game that evening. Least to say it will be a full day. My dr is going out of town for a week and a half and I just saw him on thursday so far no change which is good. i weight 160 and everything is fine. He can only see me again before he leaves on Monday but there is no point if i just saw him a few days ago so I tried to cancelled at got attitude on the phone that he HAS to see me before he leaves. Well, Im not going cause ill just see him at my next appointment on the 24th which by then we will start discussing when the baby will be here !!!! Only a few more weeks and it can't come soon enough!! Nothing much this week going on.

Its been a week

Its been a week and a day since going to L&D and I still get contractions just about everyday. im sort of use to them by now and I just know that in a few weeks they will be doing all the work to bring this little girl in the world. Took some new pictures today and played with a little photoshop and added one to the left and then added another as my main picture up top (stretchmarks and all). I try to lay on the couch as much as possible and the past few days Aaron has helped more with addi which has been nice.

Addi and I have been doing her school work but she loves the days we paint :) She is putting more words together to form sentences and articulating more everyday.

The weather was rainy and cool and now we will be hitting the triple digits and Im sure it will last all summer. Ive registured at Babies R' Us and I need to go do Target today or tomorrow depending on how Im feeling and walking. Walking gets difficult after awhile because of my lower back. Hope everyone had a nice Memorial day!

Went into labor yesturday

Went to the DMV to do my written drivin test and as soon as I sat down I had a mild contration. No big deal I have them sometimes. I took my test and past and then did my picture and left. While in the truck I had another one and then another one which I thought was strange so I started to time them. By the time I got home they were 2-3minutes apart lasting 30 seconds. Aaron told me to sit on the couch and start recording them. This was at 3:30pm an by 4 I called my dr who said to get to the hospital asap. Aaron called his mom and told her we needed to bring addi over. We got to the hospital a little before 5pm and they hooked me up to see what was going on. I was having very mild but constant contractions every three minutes so they wanted to give me a shot of terbutaline which is suppose to stop labor. It burned soo bad but it did the trick. Babe is fine and Im fine Im just suppose to stay off my feet, drink lots of water, and the dr is perscribing me the same thing as the shot but in pill form so when this happens again I dont have to go to the hospital. We got out of the hospital by 7pm so it wasn't that big of a stay. So since I am 31 1/2 weeks pregnant it was considered pre-term labor and my cervix was open a little but nothing to be worried about. So today we are all good and going about the day. It was a wake up call to reminding me how much those contrations take energy out of you even if they are small. I was really tired in between them. So if babe can stay in for about 5 more weeks everything will be ok. :)

Oh my friend McKenzie

So Monday night my friend McKenzie and I went to a thrift store called Savers and she made me laugh so hard I thought I was going to pee myself lol. This girl is crazy but I love her lol
