15 straight days of triple digits

Here in the Valley of the Sun it has been 100 or high for the past 15 days. By 8 am it is usually 85 or up and then the pressure builds and we get thunderstorms at night :) We haven't gone to the park because it has gotten so hot so quickly in the mornings. I am going to try and get the girls out tomorrow morning.

My sunflowers are sprouting and growing really fast.

The wildflowers are about an inch high now.

My potted plants are all sprouted except the herbs :( Maybe they just take longer.

Memorial day is coming up quickly. Anyone have plans? I don't think we are doing anything. I made some really yummy peanut butter and fudge brownies the other day which are amazing! I am baking too much which is not helping the weight lol.
May 30th is Aaron's Aunt's 50th birthday party which should be fun. I will make sure to post pictures on it. Not much else going on here. Thats why I haven't posted lol. Don't lose faith in me my followers. I will come through for you guys lol.

Gardening and Mother's day gifts

WOW I am almost to 100 post! Have to think of something good when I write it :)

So my little seeds have now become sprouts! By next week they should be doing really good.

Here is our pretty strawberry plant. Hopefully we will have strawberries soon.

Grow little ones!

Actually did my hair, lighter or darker?

Here are my mother's day gifts that Shelby and Kenzie did for me at school. I got them in the mail today. On the left is the stationary that Kenzie made me and the right is what Shelby made.

Kenzie made lady bugs, catapillars, and butterfly prints with her thumbs and paint. Very cute and will always treasure.

Shelby painted a small plant pot and included sunflower seeds and soil. She also decorated the bag with a flower in a pot.

I planted the seeds today and will keep you up to date on how it grows :)

The is my new house plant. Make the house feel inviting I think.

I also planted some flowers and herbs.

Marigolds, Zinnias, Forget-Me-Nots

African Daisies, Parsely, Cilantro, and Chives

We have had a great few days with gardening and cleaning the house. Im getting a few samples in the mail soon and I will be writing reviews on them so stayed tuned :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all you fabulous mommas out there. Of course, we all know that it should be more of a monthly celebration, but since we are graceous, giving, selfless women we would never ask for such a thing lol. I recieved a call from Shelby and Kenzie today to wish me happy mom day and was told that there was a card in the mail so I will look forward to that. The little ones didn't do anything which was fine but I do look forward for in the future school projects they make at school for mother's day. I made homeade chocolate truffles for mother's day. Chocolate and Chocolate Peanut Butter truffles. Very sweet and very scrumptious.

Addi was being a little model this morning so I decided to show how cute she is. She does crack me up.

So what I did today was make some homemade decor for the girls' bathroom. I bought plain wooden letters and painted them two different colors in blue strips. The wooden duck and fish were added to bring in some more color. I LOVE Michael's craft store. I could buy soo much.

Before and After

.
So I hope all of you wonderful mommas, new mommas, and to-be mommas have a wonderful day. Always remember that the you are the back bones for your families :)
